[Mintwood-place] Metro Extends Hours for Inauguration

Dear Friends:



I am pleased to commend Metro for longer hours before the inauguration.  On
Monday, January 19, Metrorail will be extending service to 2 a.m. Tuesday.

With visitors expected to hit records numbers, we want guests to be able get
in and out of the city easily.  Metro will provide an alternative to roads
that will likely be congested or closed.



We also anticipate many visitors will be enjoying local restaurants and
bars.  Metro provides a safe, convenient alternative to driving late.



I am also encouraging a further extension of bus service on early Tuesday
morning for inauguration workers and others.
