[Mintwood-place] Housing and running Space

My old Cornellian friend Nico Dauphine is back in the US from Do-Gooder 
conservation work in Ghana, and is about to start a post-doc year at the 
Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. She is looking for housing, and 
here is her dream:
"I'm looking for a small apt/room(s) in house for one person(female 
professional). Preferably close to zoo or on red line. Ideally near Rock Creek 
Park or other good running area, and ideally not a noisy place/neighborhood. 
Great if it is at least partially furnished,but otherwise I will make due. If 
it's a room in a house, I would love a private entrance and bathroom -- could 
easily share kitchen/laundry space. As of now I have no car and no pets, but I'd 
like a pet-friendly place to keep the option open. I'm hoping to keep it below 
$1200".
