[Mintwood-place] Thursday September 23 KCA Meeting

The Kalorama Citizens Association will meet September 23 at 7:00 pm at Good
Will Baptist Church, 1862 Kalorama Road, NW. 

 

Agenda items include presentation of the 2011 KCA budget and financial for
2011; 

 

a presentation by DDOT on the details of the upcoming Streetscape
construction on 18th Street; 

 

discussion of the fatal traffic incident at 18th & Florida with DDOT, MPD
and ABRA;

 

and the shooting of a dog at the Adams Morgan Day festival. MPD is
constrained as to how much they can say on this subject as it is under
investigation. If there are any witnesses to the incident, Captain Mario
Patrizio of Internal Affairs will be present to take your statement. We'll
hear from Chief Burke on MPD Use of Force Policy and Investigative
Practices.

 

Guests include Karyn LeBlanc and Khalid Muhammed of DDOT, ABRA Director Fred
Moosally and MPd Assistant Chief Pat Burke and Captain Mario Patrizio.
