[Mintwood-place] GMO Right2Know MArch COmes to DC this Sunday - Rally at White House

Dear Neighbors and Friends,

 

For the past couple weeks I’ve been walking 313 miles from New York City
back home to Washington, DC, with the Right2Know March, a mobilization for
GMO labeling.   GMO’s are genetically engineered foods and are man-made
organisms designed to resist toxic chemicals that kills weeds and insects.
These petrochemical reliant crops are not part of the sustainable future
America needs to finally embrace.  It’s time to ask President Obama to keep
his promises and tell the FDA to label GMO foods.  Sign the petition to do

a major GMO manufacturer and has lobbied extensively to keep Americans in
the dark about what is in their food.  If we want to live longer, have
healthier diets and help improve the environment by reducing pesticide and
herbicide use on our farms, we need must label GMO’s rather than sneaking
them into foods without our permission.
