[Mintwood-place] At-Large City Council Forum in Adams Morgan, this Thursday, March 22, 7pm

We've moved the March meeting of the KCA to Thursday, the 22nd, still at 7
pm, still at Good Will Baptist Church.

 

We'll have a very short KCA agenda of our own business from 7-7:30, then the
At-Large DC Council seat candidates will participate in a candidates forum
featuring all seven candidates. They are, in alphabetical order, by last
name, with party affiliation:

 

G. Lee Aiken (SG)

Mary Beatty (R)

Sekou Biddle (D)

E. Gail Anderson Holness (D) 

Vincent Orange (D)

Peter Shapiro (D)

Ann Wilcox (SG)

 

This is the seat currently held by Vincent Orange, who was elected in a
special election held in 2011 after Kwame Brown vacated his At-Large seat to
run for Council Chairman in 2010.

 

Please be sure to take advantage of this opportunity to meet and hear the
candidates in an up close and personal setting.
