Thank you, Celia. I also would like to be on the list for the 6th of April. I believe the bigger problem is that people who live on either Biltmore or MIntwood , who may NOT be owners but tenants who don't really care about getting the refuge into a " sealed container" they just set out the bags or stack on top of containers. A lot of them also have private pick up that may only be picked up once a week or less. Perhaps if we all keep an eye out for those properties that are NOT complying we can turn them in the city. I 'm happy to assist in patrolling the situation . . .

Again, many thanks !

Subject: Alley rodents

Yesterday, March 22, Gerard Brown, Program Manager of DC Department of Health, walked through the Mintwood/Biltmore alley with a group organized by Olivier Kamanda.

After seeing plenty evidence of rodents -- tunnels and dead rats -- Mr. Brown offered to have the DOH come to the alley on Friday, April 6, and begin extermination. After the initial treatment. DOH will regularly monitor the situation. Additionally, we will be assigned a contact person in case we see new or other problems.

If you live in a building with three or fewer units and would like DOH to come onto your property on April 6, please reply to this email with your name and address. (Yes, DOH will accept electronic signatures.)

If you have a fence or a pet and you would like to be part of the program on April 6 , then you must have your fence open and your pet must be out of the yard.

Please forward this email to anyone you know on the Mintwood/Biltmore alley who might be interested in this program.

Thank you to Olivier for arranging Mr. Brown's visit and thanks to the Mintwood/Biltmore neighbors who are helping to get this problem under control.
