[Mintwood-place] Cardozo funding Assured for FY13 Completion! Please pass On

While I have issues with some of the difficult choices the Mayor had to make in his proposed new budget-later alcohol hours, cuts in human services come to mind-there are significant achievements as well for Ward 1.

One such achievement is the full funding for the complete rehabilitation of Cardozo High School, now underway. Thus there will be no funding obstacles to having the school ready for the return of students in the Fall of 2013. Working with Mayor Vince Gray and his administration, we made this happen.

I wanted you to know that how much we care about this great high school really made a difference. Please pass this on to others.
