many of you activists can get a laugh out of this piece that appeared in the "voice of the people" page in today's new york daily news pertaining to the "global pastry uprising" which performed the  most recent political pieings all over the world...however i heard some one is planning to give out pies for peace to the protesters....fruit pies i hope so we can be energized to speak out for peace and justice

Maspeth: While reading the list of groups opposed to the World Economic Forum, I happened to notice one called the Global Pastry Uprising. Just what would they like to see? The world taken over by baklava and cannoli?
