Globalization might really be.

         On Tuesday, June 11, at 7:30pm, the Libertarian Book Club’s
Anarchist Forum presents a panel discussing “Globalization: The Good.
the Bad, and the Ugly.” Globalization has been presented as something
that one must be either for or against. However, the situation is far
more complex. The panel members are all radical activists and most have
participated in so-called anti-globalization actions, but they will
attempt to sort out the good and bad pieces that make up what
globalization is or can be. The panel consists of David Graeber, a Yale
professor of anthropology and a member of Anti-Capitalist Convergence
and People’s Global Action; Beka Economopolis, editor of Another World
is Possible; and Banjo Norman, anarchist economist. After their initial
presentations the panel will open the discussion to questions and
comments from the floor. The event will take place at the Brecht Forum
on the 10th floor of 122 West 27th St. [between 6th and 7th Aves.], a
short walk from the 28th St. 1, 2, N, and R stops, the 34th St. B, D,
and Q stop, and the 23rd St. F stop.
 There is no set fee for the presentation, but a contribution to aid the
