"Deepening your connection with medicinal plants by growing your own"
Jaci McKamey, a practicing herbalist for the past 17 years (apprenticed to
Mara Levin, Colette Gardiner, 7song) will discuss the specifics of
incorporating locally-adapted medicinals into the home garden, the
food-medicine communion, the spiritual elements of home herbalism, and
ideas for further study.

"Solar-Lunar Gardening."
Mark McNutt, permaculturist, professional astrologer since '72, author of
"Organic Gardening by the Stars" for Oregon Tilth for 4 years, tackles the
fundamentals of gardening by sun-moon cycles.
The Maitreya Eco-village is at the northwest corner of Almaden and W.
