The Blue Rock Station Autumn Harvest Fair near Duncan Falls, Ohio offers an
old fashioned afternoon of trading, selling or buying just about anything
from the garden. From noon until 2:30 there will be workshops: “Garden
Variety Insecticides and Recycling in the Garden” by garden author Annie
Warmke, “Weeds are Good” by Dale Worstall, and “Heifer International
Projects” by Julia Phillips. Bring along a lawn chair to sit and talk with
loads of “experts” on a variety of gardening techniques. Don’t forget to
bring along perennials, vegetables, herbs, or plant divisions, cuttings,
bulbs, seeds, and houseplants. Other tradable items might include produce,
things that can be dried for decorating, garden tools, pots, books, trays,
and bundled garden magazines. Folks who have nothing to exchange but would
like to visit the fair anyway are certainly welcome. Admission $3 per
person. Admission includes a tour of Ohio’s first "Earthship" at Blue Rock
Station. Tours begin at 2:30 p.m.

DIRECTIONS: Take I-70 at Zanesville south on St. Rt. 60 to Gaysport. Just
past the gas station on the right turn right onto Co. Rd. 66 (a large bridge
that crosses the Muskingum River). At the end of the bridge turn left onto
Old River Road. Go 1/2 mile until you see the Blue Rock Station sign on the
two story white building. Follow the arrow up the hill onto Virginia Ridge
and go 1.9 miles to 1190 Virginia Ridge (which will be on your left).
Please park at the next left after the Blue Rock Station entrance (signs
will be posted).
