I have been geeting a lot of complaints about your postings to seedgeeks and foodnotlawns, so I thought it necessary to contact you directly. These lists are meant to be DISCUSSION groups, not calendar lists. You seem to have a wealth of interesting events at your place in Ohio, but since most of the people on both lists live on the west coast, these frequent postings to the lists are more of a nuisance than anything else.  In the fture, could you please limit your postings to discussion topics and responses to such, or perhaps a seasonal posting of calendar events, rather than listing items individually and so often?

If you’ve been thinking you would like to visit Blue Rock Station to learn
how to create structures out of tires, cans or strawbales then this is the
last chance in 2005. On September 24 from 9:30 AM to 4 PM there will be a
full day of learning the basic techniques used in constructing an Earthship.

You’ll begin the day with a tour and an overview of Ohio’s first Earthship
located near Philo Ohio. Then you’ll spend the rest of the time creating
can and bottle walls, pounding tires and doing some of the mud plaster
finish work necessary to complete the project. If you have ever thought you
might like to build an "alternative home" or are just interested in what
this is all about, this is the overview workshop for you.

Reservations are necessary. The cost is $35 and includes a hearty lunch.
