[Seedgeeks] When is it bad to GREX?

Any thoughts on this:?
Here is my general idea... I am after certain traits so I find all the
varieties that have this trait and allow them to cross or cross them
myself. For example I like to eat hull-less pumpkin seed. I have 1)seed
from the health food store; 2)Lady Godiva Pumkin; 3)Styrian Hull-less 4)
Kakai Hull-less. Why would I NOT want to just grow them all close together
and let them all cross?
The only objection I can think of is that any of the "parents" could have
been crossed with "normal" C. pepo and therefore introduce the hulled
character into the population .... other than that ... is it bad to GREX?
