[Seedgeeks] Wanna talk about seeds?

Hey Jacqueline and Enkidu and others,
Same experience, but we could try to make some talk happen. Anyone out
there live in a community that has a viable seed saving cooperative or
something like that going? I'd love to hear how it operates, how it got
established and how any barriers or problems got addressed.
Where I live, we have a few informal "seed exchanges" in the winter, but
they've never really taken off. One community near me started a "bank" by
way of having people sign on to specific seeds they would save and creating
a database that logged that info. But I think the person maintaining the
database moved and I'm not sure of the status.
For such an IMPORTANT action, it seems we're not really on the ball with
seed saving on anything but an individual scale.
