Did this agricultural expert work for the poultry industry? That chicken 
assertion makes no sense. More efficient in what sense? Soybeans make 
protein using the sun and nitrogen in the air. They do take energy to 
plant, grow, and harvest, but so does the grain the chickens eat. Perhaps 
s/he was reckoning the cost of extracting protein from soybeans?
