[SustainableTompkins] Maintaining list integrity

Wow. I'm somewhat surprised by the response, but as I read and considered
the responses it makes sense to me. While I don't have hundreds of emails to
go thru on a daily basis, I usually delete most after viewing the subject
line & a few sentences if they're not of interest or relevance. I have taken
a broader view of "sustainability & sustainable Tompkins" than many of
you on this list. But I do understand and appreciate others points here.
Much of what's posted on this and many lists are often of little interest to
me tho relevant. Besides, I spend at most 2 hrs/day at the computer so I'm
not as electronically focused/driven as many of you might be. My intention
has been to share some connections to the threads of sustainability from
home into the global realm. But to avoid drifting any further, I'll refrain
from posting items not directly related to Tompkins County efforts on
sustainability.
btw, haven't there been reports of whales in Seneca Lake?
