[SustainableTompkins] Press conference on sustainability issues

Thanks for sharing this information.

Unfortunately, I cannot attend, but would like SOMEBODY to ask Rep. 
Blumenauer about the status of H.R. 609, College Access and Opportunity 
Act of 2006,of which he is a key sponsor. Section 933 of this bill - 
which was passed by the House - calls for the convening by May 2007 of a 
national summit of higher education experts working in the area of 
sustainability operations and programs.

This seemed to be stalled last I looked at the congressional record - 
just wondering if Rep. Blumenauer could provide an update?
