[SustainableTompkins] The Energy Diet for the lazy man

This approach is creative, parallels Greg Thomas' approach of using
trees saved or trees planted as a measure of energy saving, and will
likely capture the imaginations of a certain segment of the
population in the US. Might be interesting to try this with school
kids as well, maybe as a set of math exercises? If anyone is
interested in working out these types of calculations to create a
list of energy savings and pounds of CO2 saved for each one could you
please contact me? Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County might be
able to compile such a list, and print them up in bulk for groups to
use if there was interest. Thanks. ken
