[SustainableTompkins] Fwd: ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability

Hello -
   
  The City of Ithaca has been working with ICLEI (International Council on Local Environmental Initiatives) through the Cities for Climate Protection (CCP) program. The city originally joined ICLEI in 2001 to participate in the CCP program ... but did not join ICLEI as a "member" - which was not required to participate in the CCP program. Currently, the city is still a CCP participant and is now considering becoming a "member" of ICLEI.
