Remake a T-shirt at America Recycles Day 

Come to a free workshop at America Recycles Day and try out easy, no-sew techniques that transform old t-shirts into new, personalized fashions. America Recycles Day is being held this year from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, November 4 at the Pyramid Mall. T-shirt re-fashioning workshops will be held near Borders Bookstore at noon, 1 and 2 p.m. Sign-ups start at 11:30 a.m. Everyone who completes a new style will be invited to show it off in a fashion show on the America Recycles stage. Bring your own t-shirts or pick from our recycled supply. The workshops are a project of Re-Imagine Style, which sponsors volunteer-based events promoting clothing and fabric reuse, with the support of the Tompkins County Solid Waste Management Division.
