DISCUSSION OF NATURAL FEATURES AND WORKING LANDSCAPES IN TOMPKINS COUNTY

The Tompkins County Planning Department invites you to come talk
about protecting the natural, economic, recreational, and aesthetic
value of lands in the County. The meetings are designed to give the
public an opportunity to learn about natural resources and working
landscapes in Tompkins County, contribute local knowledge, and
discuss management and conservation issues.

A series of four upcoming meetings will focus on the lakeshore,
southern, and western portions of the County. They will be held:

Wednesday, November 1st 7-8:30pm

Danby Town Hall (1830 Danby Road, Danby)

Thursday, November 2nd 7-8:30pm

Newfield High School Cafeteria (247 Main Street, Newfield)

Tuesday, November 14th 7-8:30pm

Lansing Town Hall (29 Auburn Road, Lansing)

Wednesday, November 15th 7-8:30pm

Trumansburg High School Cafeteria (100 Whig Street, Trumansburg)

These meetings support the implementation of the Tompkins County
Comprehensive Plan Natural Features Focus Area Project, which calls
for establishing a more strategic and coordinated approach to
protecting the natural, economic, recreational, and aesthetic value
of lands in the County.
