Hello Friends and Family:

CNN is presenting a Show "The Poverty Trap" with President Clinton this
weekend (see schedule below).
Part of the show will feature our highly successful program for poor women
in Tabasco, Mexico--where we are working this year with 15,000 poor rural
women.

Our program "Van Mujeres" is about "women inspiring women" to help each
other pull themselves out of poverty. The program helps women to form
savings groups, identify productive projects/small businesses, get micro
loans, and create self-employment, so that their families can move from 2 to
3 meals per day, etc. The great news is that it is working. The women and
their families have more income, more self-esteem, and a sense of hope. I
am very proud.

I will be watching this program with great interest. I think Bill Clinton
is going a great job with his Clinton Global Initiative in mobilizing lots
of efforts to meet the challenges of poverty, climate change, health, and
religious conflict.

I look forward to hearing from you.

With blessings and a commitment to a sustainable world,
Eric
