Hello Julie,

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County offers periodic two-hour
workshops on home energy conservation. It's very pragmatic advice on how to do
no-cost, low-cost steps to save energy in your home. You can call Carole
Fisher at CCE (272-2292) to find out when the next workshop will be. The
workshops are free (and you get a bag full of energy-saving items like caulk and
weatherstripping). But you have to register in advance to attend.

If you are interested in learning about the NYSERDA incentives for home
energy improvements such as a new furnace or insulation, please give me a call
and I will tell you about the programs that might be useful to you.

Gay

Are there workshops being offered in the Ithaca area? I am a homeowner in
Ithaca and am unable to drive to Bingham for this event but I am interested
in
some type of energy assistance or reducing my energy consumption.

Thank you,
Julie Anderson
