Hello Friends,
I just learned about this phenomenal training opportunity in New York
State...
ZERI is based on the cutting edge work of Gunter Pauli and his colleagues.
They say that Discounts are available for multiple participants from a
single family, business, or institution. Some scholarships may be available

You are invited to participate in a unique and empowering educational
opportunity; the ZERI Training Program.

The target audience for the ZERI training includes anyone who wants to
incorporate a systems approach to creating abundance from waste in
real-world applications. The ZERI Training Program is designed to provide a
deep understanding of systems thinking, knowledge of the Five Kingdoms of
Nature, information about innovative technologies for implementing ZERI
systems, introduction to the ZERI methodology, and development of skills for
implementing projects.

The training has 3 modules: the first focuses on an introduction to ZERI and
the systems thinking embodied in ZERI projects. The second focuses on novel
technologies for creating value-added products from "waste". The third
focuses on the methodology of designing ZERI systems, including evaluating
financial viability. The first two modules will include field trips to
examine existing enterprises from a ZERI perspective, followed by group
presentations of the existing systems and how they could be improved. Each
module includes debriefing of homework assignments, mostly in the form of
group presentations. Participants are encouraged to be creative, so that
standard PowerPoint presentations are the exception rather than the rule.
Many of the other presentations have a typical lecture and discussion
format, where PowerPoint is the rule rather than the exception, but the
training also includes artistic/kinesthetic variations to break up what can
otherwise be very intense sessions.

The 3 course modules will be held: November 10 - 13, 2006 February 23 -
26, 2007
and May 4 - 7, 2007

Participants who wish to become ZERI certified must attend ALL THREE
MODULES.

Location: Glynwood Center, Cold Spring, NY

Tuition: Teachers and students $1,500 Other individuals $2,000
Corporate representatives $3,000

Discounts are available for multiple participants from a single family,
business, or institution. Some scholarships may be available
