At last night's meeting of the-as-yet-to-be-named group dedicated to the
reduction of the use of plastic and new paper bags, we decided to
provide a display, at our booth on Earthday, a sampling of many
different kinds of reusable shopping bags. If you would like to drop off
a particularly unusual or striking example, please do. All will be
returned by 5 pm ( include a name).
 
I had an interesting chat with a checkout person at Wegmans. He said
they were selling the black polyethylene bags for $.99 because they want
to get rid of all paper bags due to the expense compared to plastic
ones.
 
If you can come up with an excellent name for this group, fire off an
email. Only funny, clever, and imaginative ideas will be considered.
