Hi all:
The Aug 6,07 issue of the New Yorker has an article about the Colony
Collapse Disorder that has affected thousands of hives throughout the US &
Canada. It is a well written & reasoned analysis of what happened and the
probable cause: a virus, similar in its impact as AIDS. The collapse is a
crisis but without alternative solutions, especially considering pollination
needs of farmers. There must be other articles out there. If you've come
across any, please forward through the list.
