ITHACA FARMERS MARKET TO HOST 6TH ANNUAL GREEN BUILDING FAIR


The 7th Annual Green Building Fair will be held at the Ithaca Farmers
Market on Sunday, August 26th, from 10am to 3pm. The Farmers Market is
located on the south shore of Cayuga Lake: Take State Hwy 13 to Third
Street and follow the signs. This free event continues to grow in
popularity and offers attendees the opportunity to learn about
designing, building, and remodeling homes and businesses using natural
materials and energy-efficient, environmentally responsible
technologies and techniques. Exhibitors will include local architects
and designers, builders, timber frame and straw bale specialists,
green roof suppliers, and renewable energy system designers &
installers. Information will also be available on a wide range of
subjects including home energy audits, the Energy Smart program, books
and publications on green and natural building, and upcoming tours of
