Hello Vera,
My name is Harold Brown and I am outreach coordinator for Farm Sanctuary
in Watkins Glen. I have spent over half my life in agriculture which
began in Michigan as a beef farmer and I also spend three years working
in the dairy industry. I spend a good deal of my time traveling around
North America speaking on agricultural issues related to sustainability,
globalization, and animal rights.
If I can be of service please feel free to contact me.
All the best,
Harold

Subject: [SustainableTompkins] Seek speaker on farm policy
I'm teaching a course on women and sustainability at IC, and I'm looking
for a guest to speak on U.S. farm policy.
Anyone out there interested in doing this? Or know of someone who might
be? (If there's a local farmer who'd be willing to do this, that would
be
brilliant!)
Small stipend (I think it's $50) available for an individual or
organization.
Thanks.
