Hello,

Mother Jones today ran a blog about a little film called "The Story
of Stuff." It comes at the same time the current thread at
Sustainable Tompkins is nuclear power plants. It is really quite mad
to think we need to build more power plants to to run the crap we
buy. Obviously the entire system needs to change. "The Story of
Stuff" is a very powerful tool for learning about the madness.

The film's story is probably nothing new to most who read and post
here, but Annie Leonard has a way of presenting the story along with
the graphics in a very compelling manner. Everyone can understand
what she is saying.

I think this is important for people to see, so if you know anyone
who might not see it, send them a link.

From this downloads link you can download the entire short movie. It
is 50MB. Need a fast connection.

It also possible to see the film in segments on You Tube.

You can start that by watching the trailer on Mother Jones. After the
teaser the rest of the segments will appear at the bottom of the screen.
