[SustainableTompkins] another bad idea is shown not to work--ocean fertilization

Dear Friends--All kinds of technocrats keep coming up with unsustainable 
ideas to combat global warming.  Of of these schemes was to spend $100 
billion (of our tax money, mostly) to seed the oceans with 
fertilizers.  The idea was to promote algal blooms that would allegedly
  fix CO2 and sink it in the ocean.   This idea turns out to be as 
unrealistic as it sounds.  See the  following from the University of Miami:

I think using the existing natural carbon sink--keeping it in the 
ground--is the best idea!  Tom
