Hi Miranda,
This is the Kate that you know from Home Green Home. I found a nice list on
CCE's website of lead inspectors:
http://counties.cce.cornell.edu/tompkins/consumer/lead/NYSCertifiedLaboratoriesforLeadTesting.htm
I'm also going to call my home inspector that I use for green inspections
and ask him if he knows of anything +/- about any of these companies. I'll
let you know what I find out!

Subject: [SustainableTompkins] lead testing -- recommendations?
Hello,
My husband and I would like to get our house tested for lead. Does
anyone have recommendations for how to do that?
Any experience (positive or negative) with EcoSpect? Any thoughts
would be appreciated.
Also, is anyone aware of local groups which focus on household toxics
as a discussion topic and/or subject for activism?
thank you!
Miranda
