[SustainableTompkins] Article on companies making major energy changeovers

Don't get me wrong, I think it's great that Frito-Lay is looking into going
off-grid and using solar, but I wouldn't jump to call it eco-friendly
guilt-free. These potatoes come in by the half million a day from New
Mexico. Did the workers get paid a fair wage? Did the growing of the
potatoes use water efficiently? I bought a bag of locally grown and baked
potato chips last week, and I think that would be more guilt-free than
buying from a large company across the country any day. Support the local
farmers!

What a great example of moral ambivalence -- an eco-friendly junk food!
Of course, there is still the packaging and transportation to address.
