Dear Friends--From an e-mail correspondent I have learned that Trader
Joe's, a grocery store chain covering much of the US (nothing in NY outside
of the NY City Metro area, however), has started a bring your own bag
campaign. If you bring your own canvas bag to their store or if you buy
one of their canvas bags, they put your name in a drawing every time that
you use it. The drawing is for $100.00 worth of groceries. Sometimes they
have a special where they give customers a small percentage off their
grocery bill when they use one of the Trader Joe's bags. This isn't just a
trend anymore, it's a movement! Have a wonderful day. Tom
