Simon!
I hope others are taking the time to read your thoroughly interesting blog
on life upstate in 2050. I'm impressed by your creativity and wide range of
potential conditions. Thank you for doing this. It's a great way to explore
our future.

The solar panel question raised lots of questions about what the world
will be like a few decades from now. I've been pondering the same kinds
of questions for a while, and thanks to a couple of weeks of insomnia,
found the time to write them up.

The first one starts at my house near the 13/366 intersection in Dryden
- others are all over the state, in different voices from different
perspectives. I've tried to mix optimism and bleakness (usually in
different stories), along with conventional and unconventional
development stories. I don't think these stories represent my personal
forecast, but I tried to ensure that they would be plausible.
If anyone here has suggestions or even stories they'd like to submit
please let me know. Otherwise, just enjoy the stories!
Thanks,
Simon St.Laurent
