I made an interesting, simple calculation- based on a recent report from the UN Food and Agriculture Organization: if a, typical, individual 'meat eater' reduces her meat consumption by 2/3rd, she would save about as much greenhouse gases annually (one ton) as switching from an average? car to a hybrid Toyota Prius- and save money and improve her health at the same time!!!
