Tompkins Time Bank

We seek an individual who will help continue our 1-yr. old community 
time bank. The Tompkins County Time Bank helps to empower youth and 
families in a neighbor to neighbor Time Bank model. For the past 
30-years, YAP, Inc. has served youth & families with complex needs 
and problems. Our agency, started in 1975, helps children and youth 
with high needs and often difficult situations. For more information

VISTA will work with youth and families with various economic, social 
and emotional needs. As a 1-yr. program, new initiatives will involve 
growing and sustaining the time bank. You will recruit, engage and 
retain members in a service exchange program to build a 
service-exchange network. Activities include coordinating monthly 
meetings, engaging community members, creating new activities for 
members, networking members to each other, publicity and fundraising. 
Training is available. Monthly newsletter, working with Time Bank 
members; and managing and operating the comm. Time Bank. Additional 
tasks will include business outreach and development.
