[SustainableTompkins] Introducing the Ithaca Sustainability Blog

Sustainable Friends,

I am very happy to announce the launch of a new blog for the entire Ithaca
community. The Sustainable Ithaca blog, accessible at www.sustainithaca.org,
is available to members of the City of Ithaca, Cornell, and Ithaca College
working to make this entire place a model for just sustainability. It came
about as a result of an agreement between students at Cornell and Ithaca
College who wanted to increase collaboration between members of this entire
community.

The blog will serve as a space for opinions, news, events, announcements,
and anything else related to sustainability.

If you wish to become a regular blogger, please e-mail me with your
preferred e-mail address, a short bio, a picture of yourself, and your
affiliation. We hope that this can become a blog for and driven by the
entire sustainability movement in Ithaca.

I hope that many of you can make it a great communication and
information-sharing tool. Please spread this far and wide.
