[SustainableTompkins] Call for Artists: Ithaca 'green' sculpture '08 1st in nation

The City Public Art Commission and Ithaca Downtown Partnership invite applications from artists interested in exhibiting with Arts in the Heart of the City 2008.
   
  You'll see from the attached that Ithaca's taking a bold and groundbreaking step with its '08 theme of CELEBRATING SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITY. According to Americans for the Arts' Public Art Network, this makes us the first community in the country to try out an explicitly 'green' public art program - and they'll be watching us to serve as a model for elsewhere.
