Cayuga Nature Center (CNC) seeks dry, burnable scrap wood for use in our
maple sugaring operation running March and April this year. We are in
need of more dry wood to burn as we boil hundreds of gallons of sap into
syrup. Some criteria:
- no paint or other treatments
- no pressboard or composite wood
- DRY (has not been sitting in your backyard half buried for many years...)
- size doesn't matter; small or big, we can use it!
We will come and pick this wood up from your location (within 20 miles
of CNC) for free in the next two weeks. If you are like us and save
every scrap, here is a good chance to get rid of it!
We will also pick up split firewood as a donation, seasoned for at least
6 months. These donations can be written off for a tax deduction, or
we'll negotiate a trade for some pure CNC Maple Syrup!
Thank You! Please contact me if you have an offer...email preferred.
