will serve buttermilk & vegan pancakes, eggs, homefries, and a seasonal
dish cooked by CNC staff. Coffee, Tea, and Juice are included. Fee: $12
Adults and $6 Kids includes general admission
Brunch will be accompanied by live music from The Wayward Girls, a duo
with Emelie Peine and Amy Guptill who will serve up soulful, ragged
harmonies that draw on old-time, alternative country, and rock influences.
A pruning workshop will be offered from 12 - 2pm from local artisan
Steve Sierigk of Acorn Designs. Steve will demonstrate fruit tree
pruning techniques and talk theory while rehabilitating an old CNC apple
tree.
Also offered are TEAM Challenge games from 12 - 2pm which focus on
supporting growth and self-discovery through experiential education. The
program helps individuals to work on trust, cooperation, problem solving
skills and building self esteem.
Trails will be open for hiking, and showshoes are available for rental
at $8 a pair, weather permitting.
