[SustainableTompkins] water heating

The remote temperature control allows you to change the water temperature at the point of use. For example, if you wanted 115F water for bathroom and laundry and 130F for dishwashing, you could install a remote control in the kitchen that would boost the heater's output temperature when you were washing dishes. Rinnai and Bosch both offer this as an upgrade.

We have a Takagi Jr. tankless with no remote controller and are very happy with it.

Thank you to all who have responded to my question - very helpful information, feedback and thoughts!

A couple of you have mentioned a "remote water temperature control" - this is not something that I've encountered before and am wondering what it is.

Thanks again,
Rebecca
