GILLES:
can you remind me of the phone number for joining in the Gardeners for Peace conference call on the 27th?
I also want to let you know that I'm passing this message along to Ithaca's sustainability network - Sustainable Tompkins - which is hosting a September 11th gardens/spirituality event. I see Gardeners for Peace as an inspiring example of how our passion for growing things can bring us together and build a peaceful world.
ST FOLKS:
Gardeners for Peace is something worth looking at - especially in light of our fast-growing local foods focus - It is also a reminder that the Sept 11th Ithaca event could be a superb start for what is coming to be known globally as "Peace Week" (Sept 11-21, the International Day of Peace)
Level Green's offering for Peace Week will be our 2nd EARTHDANCE gathering, on September 13th. This will be part of a global time-synchronized event that includes a meditation for world peace and dancing in the garden - with a webcast that brings us together with folks in the over-300 other locations around the world. For inspiring details, see <earthdance.org>.
