[SustainableTompkins] Sustainable Tompkins Community Picnic on June 7

Sustainable Tompkins invites you to kick back by the lake at our 
community picnic on Saturday, June 7 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Cass 
Park Pavilion located at 701 Taughannock Blvd in Ithaca (across from the 
Inlet on Route 89).

• View live demonstrations of solar cookers
• Transform old t-shirts into reusable bags with Wendy Skinner of SewGreen
• Enjoy a cappella songs by "Glass of Water"
• Bring frisbees, beach blankets, and your green ideas!

Please bring a dish-to-pass & your own place settings for a sustainable, 
zero-waste event. Sheldrake Point wine, Ithaca Beer, & non-alcoholic 
beverages provided. OK to BYOB.

The rain or shine event is free and open to the public. All humans are 
welcome, but -- sorry --our permit requires you to leave Fido at home.

This event will give us time to connect, have fun and help energize the 
regional sustainability movement, all at the same time.
