How 'bout contacting the vet school?  You go through the main number, wait
for the "wildlife" option which puts you through to the switchboard who can
get you in touch with the Wild Animal Health Center - they may be
able/willing to help.  They helped me to rescue an injured ruby throated
hummingbird several weeks ago.
