Sue -

Regarding local citizen action on the issue of sewage sludge on our
farmlands:

The person you're seeking regularly attends Back To Democracy meetings in
Trumansburg. His name is Robert Barton robarton at fltg.net ; the group's name
is CARR (Citizens for Agricultural and Rural Responsibility). The Ithaca
Times article (Feb 13-19, 2008) also mentions Walter Hang, president of
Toxics Targeting, whom you could Google.

BTD has invited Robert to give a public presentation about this topic. It's
tentatively set for Fri, May 30 at 7 pm at the Trumansburg Fire Hall; check
our web site www.backtodemocracy.org closer to the date if you're
interested. Hope to see you there!
