Dear friends,

Please join us on Saturday, May 10, 3 pm, at Stewart Park for a
pre-mother's Day celebration. We'll have a potluck picnic (please bring
reusable dishes), crafts (please bring them), and music (please bring
along).

Except that it'll be fun to be out and about and see you all, I have
another purpose: this get-together is part of a national event organized
by Greenpeace and 1Sky to put pressure on our leaders to act effectively
and quickly on climate change. We will make some postcards, posters,
pictures, and send them as a sign of our concern for the future of our
children.
