Want to become a regular blogger for a more sustainable Ithaca?

Are you are a student, staff, professor, local business owner, resident, or someone who's just very dedicated to making Ithaca a more sustainable place (whether at Cornell, IC, or in the City itself)? If so, then WE WANT YOU!

Last year, a blog was created at www.sustainithaca.org called the Sustainable Ithaca Blog to share news about local efforts, events, announcements, and anything else related to sustainability in Ithaca. It came about as a result of the desire of IC and Cornell students to collaborate more closely and get more involved with the community.

Over the several months the blog has been in existence, only a few people have actually contributed to the blog. To make it more dynamic, we are seeking new bloggers who want an opportunity to post news, provide opinions, share upcoming events, make announcements, and much more! This is a great way to put many discussions and news in one location for everybody in the community to see. And that's why WE NEED YOU!

If you are intersted in becoming a blogger (highly recommended), please e-mail me (Carlos Rymer) at carlos.rymer at gmail.com for instructions on how to become a blogger. The process is pretty simple (taking just a few minutes) and there are no requirements for how much you need to blog (that is up to you).

Ithaca is in many ways at the forefront of the sustainability movement, and we ought to share what we're doing here with the rest of the community and the world.

Please become a blogger!

Cordially,

Carlos Rymer
