Jim was not being fair when he asked you to vote. Your
hands were folded when he asked you. Please don't try
to make us out to be just trouble makers.

For your information, people are tired of the stupid
politics that are being played at these meetings.
That is why they are leaving.....Some of us work very
hard for this LSB and it is very frustrating when our
work is being dashed to the wolves for the sake of some
turf. Further, it is equally disheartening when the
very things we say we stand for get sidetracked.

Ruffin's motion was an attempt to implement the policy
that was just passed. How come no one is addressing
this point? What was in that motion that could cause
such a stir?

For the record,
it was 11PM when we took that vote on the waivers. I
had already worked a
15-hour day alm
]ost non-stop. I'm sure I'm not the only one. I
hadn't read the waiver proposals and was quite tired.
When the vote
was originally called, I had unanswered questions and
was not sure how to
vote--therefore I barely raised my hand. Jim Brown was
only being fair when
he asked me to clarify my vote.

WPFW's mission
is supposed to be about promoting greater understanding
amongst all
people. Our Board Meetings should not be hostile to
people who happen
to be holding down jobs working 12 hrs/day--which is
many of
us.

I had to leave last night's meeting as I've
had a slight recurrence of bleeding from my surgery.
But the real bleeding is
happening within the LSB. Hopefully we'll all take
some deep breaths, and pull
back from the anger and frustration. There are larger
issues than the
procedural fights we seem to frequently get involved
with, and we waste our
energy for the really big fights out there. I don't
know if we should all get
together and have one helluva party and get
rip-roaring drunk...or have a
retreat where we can hug and embrace those among us
with whom we have the
greatest disagreement, or all quit and elect a new
board. I dunno, BUT we
cannot continue to function the way we've been doing.
There are no winners and
losers the way we're going; we're all losers. Let's
bring into our
vision the spirit of NAP TURNER, who reached out as a
healing, forgiving and
loving person to all those with whom he came in
contact. "Don't Forget

    Billy Ray,
Your comments are primarily toxic, in your postings
and in person. But
you certainly provide a lot of opportunities for
those who choose to
respond. Your few comments that may be on point, in
my opinion, is buried in
to much venom to be seriously considered. You show
no respect for any one
who dares to disagree with you. And your stance of
potential violence, and
actual profanity, portrays the probability of
serious mental problems.
May you find help and hopefully the peace and love
you
sign at the end of your postings.
