The reason I am responding at this time is to suggest to all of you, with
the type of emails generated at this time, I see more of the same. The
provocateurs are still in place and they still have the little people fighting among
themselves for the crumbs. These conversations will never get to real
change and as long as this continue, they have you right where they want you.
Nothing accomplished and the deceit goes on. KEEP THE GOALS AND ETHNICS OF WHAT
PACIFICA SHOULD BE ABOUT AT THE FOREFRONT.
>From the beginning of the current administration, there were obvious behind
the scene connections. DC Coop made it obvious they were a slate, but
another slate had already been formed by those to ensure nothing changes in
Pacifica or any of their affiliates.
I will ask the Native and Latin Americans to please not get caught up in
individual agendas. First of all, I dare say, I believe you are one and the
same. To the issue of solidarity, we all should be focused on the
disenfranchisement of the voiceless and the underclass. All I am asking: ALL CONSCIOUS
PEOPLE, PLEASE STAND UP.
At this point in almost 2005, they (the powers that be) still have us
entertaining for our existence. The only places where we (the so called
minorities) are allowed to excel are in sports and in the tv/movies industry. They
have us singing and dancing everywhere. We own no studios, we don't control the
content (script), we don't even control distribution. Picture the total
number of malls in the metro area alone and ask how many are owned by people of
colour. Take this same analogy around the world and you see more of the
same. How much of the total GNP of this country do you think people of colour
truly own? We don't even make our own underwear. I say all of this because
for this station (OUR station) to want to increase the music portion of the
programming is lethargic and ludicrous. Our focus should be to turn this
oligarchy around with instructions to the masses on how to regain control of our
future, without having to give up our cultures, languages, customs or
spiritualities. We send our kids to their schools for certification (degrees) at
$10k to $30k a year to ensure their institutions are maintained. When will
develop our own self-determination (Kujichagulia) and cooperative economics
(Ujamaa).
