Warren,

   I applaud your concerns about the well-being of the WPFW community.  
Frankly, (and this is going to sound harsher than intended), I think we could go a 
long way towards better representation if we fulfilled the duties of the jobs 
we have agreed to take on.

    As you know, you have missed four consecutive national finance committee 
(NFC) meetings (5/5; 5/21; 6/25; and 7/9).  At these meetings, the Treasurers 
from all five stations and the PNB reps discuss the fiscal health and 
direction of the entire network and each individual station.  We review monthly 
budgets in detail, ask questions of the CFO, and map strategy for things like the 
'05 budget approval for LSBs.  We discuss policy issues related to improving 
access to financial information for board members and LSBs, or management 
concerns about privacy rights.  We also craft and vote on motions to send to the PNB. 

    All past finance motions have been discussed at length in these meetings, 
voted on, and copies sent to all Treasurers for dissemination to the LSB as 
the fiscal officer of that body.  All reports to the PNB are also distributed 
to NFC members, as well as confidential materials related to legal debt and 
settlements, exact salaries, and the like.  If you truly want to serve the 
interests of the WPFW listener community, I suggest you start attending these 
meetings as the elected Treasurer for the group.
